I'm not familiar with the Van Dorn setup having learned on a Sioux and then taught on the same Sioux valve and seat grinders and added a Black and Decker seat grinder. I used to use my buddy's old Black and Decker setup that probably came over on the MayFlower as it was beyond old and pretty sketchy.

I'm good for a while on stones as I have two Sioux and one black & decker seat grinder, all complete with plenty of stones, but some of them are getting down there. Picked up an antique Sioux valve grinder a few years ago that may be needing new wheels sometime soon.
