It's laughable. I've built up the middle of the rubber drive wheel with electrical tape to create a crown. I finally read this machine (tracking) works best with 1x48 belts, split the belts in half. I'd be curious to hear from a maker that is having good tracking success with this machine because it's really bad for me.

Crown is easy,Set the compound rest at 1 degree, cut to the right from the center of the wheel, set the compound at one degree on the other side of zero, cut to the left from center of wheel. If you are stuck with the 3" drive wheel, it needs to turn 5729.6 RPM to make the belt travel at 4500 feet per minute. A 6" drive wheel would be half as fast, or 2864 RPM - near your 2 pole speed on 50 Hz. Your 1430 RPM motor is 4 pole.
