One piece of equipment that I'd really like to add to my shop is a surface grinder. Unfortunately I may have to build one because in my area unlike the rest of you used surface grinders go for as much as new chinese ones, ie in the 4-10 thousand dollar range. So there are people like myself that may find articles like this useful.

Yes that $200 one I found is really tempting as long as it works, but then I have to find a place for it. I am going to go take a look at it next week and get some measurements to see if I can squeeze it in to the area.
